If you want to move off island, the San Francisco Police Department is recruiting in Hawaii. Starting salary is $89,856 with top salary over $140,000. They will be coming in November to administer the test as well as help with test prep for the national exam (reading, writing, and viewing scenarios). They'll even provide you with a waiver so you don't have to pay for the test.
