The Hakuoh University program sounds like a fun nine days this summer 2015 spent learning first-hand about Japan and it's culture and it covers almost ALL of your expenses (i.e., almost everything is paid for except about $350 in air fare and about 20-30% of the meals). One seat is saved for a WCC student and sometimes they don't even receive a single application from WCC. There are also many other great opportunities for community college students this semester who want to study abroad in Japan so if you ever dreamt of going, now is the time!
