Waikīkī Beach Services Scholarship Program - Due TOMORROW, March 31
On behalf of Waikīkī Beach Services, we’re excited to share that our 2026 Scholarship Program is now open to Hawaiʻi resident high school seniors and college students, with a fast-approaching deadline of March 31, 2026. The program offers four $1,500 scholarships (totaling $6,000) across four themes—Marine Stewardship, Native Hawaiian Culture, Community Activism, and Hawaiʻi Trades—so be sure to review the details below and see which best aligns with your interests. These scholarships honor the legacy of Waikīkī’s beachboys and beachgirls by supporting students committed to community, culture, and stewardship. Ka Ipu Hoʻokele Waʻa: Pō'ele Wai - Tomorrow, March 31 @ 2PM
Pō'ele Wai : A weaver, Kunawai, navigates between survival and her connection to the ‘āina (land) while a mysterious rash grows on her body. She has visions of a mysterious creature lurking in the waterways as she tries to go about her daily routine and her work as a cleaner. Pō'ele Wai on March 31 and Indigenous Naʻau on April 9.
