Matters of Life and Death: Poetry and Drama (WI), Spring 2009
Is death that which gives meaning to life? Find out this spring in
English 256, WI-Types of Literature II! We'll experience matters of
life and death (and of much in between) through some of the great
poems and plays of our time, reading closely, writing intensively, and
discussing spiritedly the works of writers ranging from Hawaii poet
Cathy Song to comedian and dramatist John Leguizamo. Please join us
for a fun and fulfilling semester.
