Kalai La'au: Hawaiian Carving Making a Leiomano and a Niho Oki is a hands-on workshop on Saturday, March 6 from 9am-5pm at WCC. Students will learn how to carve implements of traditional Hawaiian design. The instructor 'Umi Kai, has been creating mea kaua, traditional Hawaiian weapons for over 30 years.
Cost is $30 for the first 20 students.
