Word Parts - con


One of the fastest ways to increase your vocabulary is by learning word parts, i.e., roots, prefixes, suffixes or forms.

The TRiO SSS Scoop will give you a new word part everyday so that you can begin to work on increasing your college vocabulary. Here's your word part for today...

con - with

connect - to become joined; concert - to act with someone or something else; conform - to be or act like others around you; contaminate - to make impure by adding something bad; convey - to bring from one place to another, to get the meaning across; consensus - group agreement, not a majority vote, but an idea everybody can agree on.
