Word Parts - pass, pati

One of the fastest ways to increase your vocabulary is by learning word parts, i.e., roots, prefixes, suffixes or forms.

pass-, pati- : Latin for suffering, feeling, enduring

compassion - having sorrow or consideration for suffering or troubles of another or others; compassivity - a condition of suffering together with another; dispassion - absence of passion, bias, or emotion; dispassionate - free from passion, emotion or bias; impatience - inability to bear suffering, discomfort; incompatible - inability to exist in harmony.
