Word Parts - ultim

ultim- : From Latin end, last, final

ultima - last or final syllable of a word; ultimate - at last, finally, or at the end; ultimation - action or process of bringing something to an ultimate result; ultimatum - final offer or demand, especially by one of the parties engaged in negotiations; ultimo - in the preceding month: an old-fashioned usage; ultimum - final point or limit; antepenultimate - anything that is the third from the end; penultimate - second to the last in a series or sequence; relating to a penult;
