bapti: From Greek dip, immersion, dipping in water
baptism - immersion or dipping of a believer into water; pedobaptism, paedobaptism - baptism of children; infant baptism; baptisaphily - someone who has an interest in or fondness for collecting Christian baptismal names; baptistery - building or a part of a church in which baptism is administered; anabaptism - advocacy of adult baptism.
