From Latin: talk, speak, say, spoken about, acknowledge

defame - attack someone, or someone’s reputation by making slanderous or libelous statements; confession - admission of having done something wrong or embarrassing; affable - easy of conversation or address; ineffably - to an inexpressible degree; infant - child who can neither walk nor talk; preface - introductory section at the beginning of a book or speech; prefatory - serving to introduce something else; profess - declare openly, announce, affirm.
