Freeman Japan scholarship now accepting applications

Aloha All,

Now the Freeman Japan scholarship (KCC) is accepting applications. This is a great opportunity for UHCC students as it covers basically everything from airfare, tuition to food (about $20,000/student).

This is the last time this Freeman Scholarship is offered, as the grant funding is coming to close after 6 years of support.

WCC has been very successful in the past and has sent many WCC students to Japan, China and Korea.

Within few weeks (probably 9/20 or 9/27 in the morning), we will invite a representative of the scholarship, Mr. Ken Kiyohara to WCC. We plan to visit some classes. If you'd like to meet him, please let me know.
