TRiO SSS Graduation and Retention Data Highlights
Fall 2005 – Spring 2009 (as of 08/12/2011)
-55.17% or 272 participants are Hawaiian/Pacific Islander.-30.51% or 83 Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participants are currently enrolled in a 2-year college and 26.98% or 133 of the participants are enrolled in a 2-year college.
-244 participants (49.49%) have received an A.A. and/or transferred to a 4-year
college/university. 124 (45.59%) of the Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participants have
received an A.A. and/or transferred to a 4-year college/university. (Project objective is 25%.)
-142 participants (28.80%) have received an A.A. and 69 (25.37%) of the
Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participants have received an A.A. (WCC’s graduation rate is
9% -11%.)
-Currently two participants have earned a Master’s in Social Work and 7.3% or 36
participants have received their bachelor’s degree and 17 (6.25%) Hawaiian/Pacific
Islander participants received their bachelor’s degree.
-148 (30.02%) are enrolled in a 4-year college/university with 75 (27.57%) of the
Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participants currently enrolled in a 4-year college/university.
