Selena Goles' TRiO SSS Success Story

I began attending Windward Community College in the Spring of 2012,unaware of the benefits available to me as a student, it wasn’t until the Fall session of 2012 was I introduced to the TRIOS SSS Program.

As I became more familiar with the programs and assistance that TRIO SSS provides, I realized how important and beneficial this program would become in my educational and career goals. TRIO SSS has provided for myself with everything from academic advising, tutoring, financial aid and grant assistance, and of course the computer lab and a place to study.  What I believe has been the most beneficial part for me is how everyone at TRIO SSS share in the Aloha and Lokahi spirit creating “One Big Ohana”,
