One of the fastest ways to increase your vocabulary is by learning word parts, i.e., roots, prefixes, suffixes or forms.
ject - to throw
eject - to throw out; inject - to shoot in; reject - fail to accept or to throw back; projectile - something being thrown; conjecture - speculation, throwing forward; abject - hopeless, as if thrown down...and here's some others for you: object, subject, objective, subjective, trajectory, rejection.
