Word Parts - bene


One of the fastest ways to increase your vocabulary is by learning word parts, i.e., roots, prefixes, suffixes or forms.

bene - good

benefit - something that is good or helpful; benediction - blessing, good saying; benign - not causing harm or hurt; benefactor - someone who gives help; beneficial - make things good or better; benevolent - tending to be good or kind; beneficent - showing charity or doing good; beneficiary - someone who receives something good.

So what do these words mean?
