As you may know, here at Windward, we TOTALLY got your back!  Which is why I wanted to remind you that we have counselors available to assist you in completing these scholarship applications...but time is running out FAST!  Please feel free to come by TRiO SSS in Hale Kakoʻo room 116 and get some help by our scholarship kōkua team: Heipua Kāʻopua, Cyndy Masatsugu, and myself at any of the following dates/times:
  1. Friday, February 8- 10:00am-1:00pm

Lastly, there is one scholarship opportunity still available for THIS semester!!!  The Hoʻomānalowai Scholars Program is still accepting applications for the Spring 2019 semester, and is for any full-time Native Hawaiian students at Windward Community College who plan to pursue a 4-year degree in Education and/or STEM.   If you are interested, please complete the attached application form along with a personal statement and email your documents to: Sarah Akina (inouyes@hawaii.edu) and myself, Kuʻulei Miranda (daniluck@hawaii.edu).

Whew...that was a lot of information, but I hope you’ll consider taking advantage of these opportunities that are available to you right here at WCC!  Looking forward to working with you in the coming weeks..HULŌ!

Mālama pono,
Kuʻulei
