FAFSA, UH System Common Scholarship, Nursing at UHM, and Talk-Story Session...

Did you complete your 2023-2024 FAFSA application? If not, you need to complete it as soon as possible so that you can get a WCC Opportunity Grant as it's given to the first 250 or so WCC students who turn in the FAFSA application. It's worth $$$ just for being one of the first to complete the application. Click here <https://studentaid.gov> to go to the FAFSA website. If you completed your FAFSA for this year (2022-23), it's even easier to submit a renewal FAFSA for 2023-24!  All you need to do is update your (and your parent's) tax information. Make sure you have your FSA ID/password (and your parent's too if you're 24 or younger) and have your 2021 tax information ready.

The University of HawaiĘ»i System Common Scholarship Application is now available online for the 2023-24 academic year. Be sure to apply by the 4:00 p.m. (HST) March 1, 2023 deadline. Information and application can be found at www.hawaii.edu/scholarships

Interested in majoring in nursing at UHM? Sign up for their Transfer Workshop on Thursday from 12:30pm-1:30pm. You may register for the workshop at this link: http://go.hawaii.edu/2gt. After you register, you’ll receive the Zoom link for the workshop.

Lastly, zoom in to learn about how dance is being used to foster cultural identity and resilience (see flyer below).
