National Community College Transfer Panel:  Join Warda Ali, an alumna of American River College who transferred to Stanford University in this virtual Community College Transfer Panel!   This event centers the lived experiences of community college transfer students and is designed to offer current students' transparent insight, encouragement, and guidance as they explore transfer pathways. Our panelists represent community colleges across the nation and 4-year institu tions including Yale, Stanford, UCLA, Georgetown, University of Michigan, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Sacramento State University, Texas A&M U niversity, and Pomona College.  Register to hear how YOU can prepare your transfer journey after WCC!

HIMB Shark Lab Summer Internship:  The HIMB Shark lab is seeking motivated and committed students to participate in a paid internship opportunity. Please see the flyer for details.  MOP students can use this internship as their MOP Skill Project!   Join us for an informational session on zoom, Tuesday March 10th at 4:00pm! 

 

Program Dates:

June 29 – August 21, 2026

Commitment: Minimum of two full days/week

Stipend: $3200 (paid upon completion)

Course credit: those interested in using this internship as their MOP Skill Project will be required to enroll in 1-credit of SCI 195VI in summer II (tuition and fees will be reimbursed upon completion of internship)
