VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!!!!!
Aloha TRiO SSS,
La Kukahekahe is just around the corner and for those of you who need volunteer hours for Kamehameha scholarships, grant aid, or just want to help out cause you’re a nice person, we need about 20 - 30 volunteers to help with set up, registration, lunch prep and serving, and clean up. Below is a schedule of the days and times we need help.
Friday, October 21, 2011
3:00pm to 6pm Set up the Atrium
Saturday, Octover 22, 2011
8am – 9:30am Registration
11am – 1pm Serve lunch
1pm – 3pm Clean-up Atrium

La Kukahekahe - Hawaiian Language Day is a conference for high school students. For those of you in HAW 101, 201, and 301, it'd be a great opportunity to listen and practice your Hawaiian with various abilities of other students, teachers, and speakers. (Also, some of the Hawaiian language/studies instructors gave extra credit last year for those who helped out so you may want to ask your Hawaiian language/studies instructor about that.)
