Trio has helped me tremendously with my journey and more so with tutoring at Windward Community College. Due to the fact that I attended and graduated from Hawaiian immersion my English skills were not at the level it was suppose to be. My first semester at WCC I took English 22, the class right bellow the 100 class, and passed the class, however, I did so struggling. As of spring 2013 I’m taking English 100 and seek tutoring through Trio. With the help of my tutor, complemented by Trio, I can confidently say I am going to past English 100. I am now a part of Phi Theta Kappa, an academic honor society because of tutoring. The only thing I regret is not signing up for Trio my first semester here. I plan to transfer to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and major in fashion merchandising.
