Aloha Graduates!

Have you checked your STAR Degree Audit?  If your degree requirements
will be completed this semester, and you want to graduate from Windward
Community College, here are some important deadlines to keep in mind:

The following steps must be completed by the last day of instruction,
Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

Graduation Certification Appointment:  Call 235-7413 Counseling Office.

Diploma Application:  Completed at the Admissions and Records Office
after your graduation certification appointment.  $15.00 paid at the
Business Office for each diploma (available in English and Hawaiian).

If you plan to participate in the commencement ceremony, you will need
to complete the steps above by Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in order to get
your name included in the commencement program.

Order cap and gown:  The deadline for ordering cap and gown from the
Bookstore has passed but you are still able to purchase a set for
$38.75 from their inventory.  Don’t delay as limited size options are
available.  They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30
p.m., closed on holidays and during Spring Break week. You will need to
show them your copy of the graduation certification.

The commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1
p.m. in the Paliku Theatre.  Tickets are required for guests and will
be available for pick-up beginning May 5, 2014 in Hale Akoakoa Room
212.

Students are urged to attend commencement rehearsal Friday, May 16,
2014 at 2 p.m. in the Paliku Theatre.  WCC –ASUH is sponsoring a
luncheon for graduates and their favorite faculty and staff members
prior to rehearsal at noon in the Palanakila Courtyard.  Invitations
will be mailed out early April.

If you have any questions regarding the graduation process or your
eligibility, please see a counselor in Student Affairs.  Call 235-7413
or stop by Hale Akoakoa 212 to make an appointment.

Best wishes for a successful semester,
