 Aloha TRiO SSS and Paipai,

The 2020 Fall Semester starts on Monday so hope you have had a fun and relaxing summer break and are ready to hit the books again.  Many of you called and emailed asking if we're going to open....and the answer is YES!!!!  TRiO Student Support Services will be open to SERVE YOU!  

Your health and safety is our #1 concern, so we are requiring social distancing at all times when coming to TRiO SSS:

• We are OPEN for APPOINTMENTS ONLY so please be sure to call us at 235-7487 and schedule an appointment.  We will accept walk-in's as long as there's availability.
• We will be open Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. Yes, I know...COVID-19 pandemic... U SUCK!!
• Please be sure to complete your daily health screen prior to coming onto campus by downloading the app at:  https://www.hawaii.edu/news/email/events/dailyapp.html  The tool (LumiSight UH) is available for free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Access is also available on the web at uh.campus.lumisight.com. 
• A screening process will take place outside of TRiO SSS mauka entrance door (green benches) prior to entering the Hale Kako'o building.
• There is only ONE ENTRANCE (mauka door) and ONE EXIT (makai door) as you enter the building.
• Wear your facemask, up to 5 people in a group, stay at least 6 feet apart from others, wash your hands every hour, and follow posted signage and floor decals.

Mo'Money:

• Soroptimist Live Your Dream Scholarship application is now open for WOMEN to apply.  More information can be found at:   https://www.soroptimist.org/our-work/live-your-dream-awards/apply-for-the-live-your-dream-awards.html  
• Fall 2020 TRiO SSS Grant Aid Application is attached.  Deadline is September 1, 2020 to receive priority review.  

Some reminders:

• Last Day to ADD a class or get a 100% refund is Tuesday, September 1, 2020.  If you need help registering for another class or rearranging your schedule, see your counselor or us!
• Reserve your FREE lunch!  If you're on campus, stop by TRiO SSS to pick up your FREE lunch.  If you're off campus, not to worry...drive-thru to pick up your FREE lunch!
• FREE textbook rentals have started.  Complete your request, then will call you to schedule an appointment to pick up.
• You may reserve a laptop by calling the library at 235-7436.
