Smoking Cessation with our alumna Donita Garcia will be here at TRiO to go over their services which includes, individual counseling, support groups, Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), and assistance in obtaining other medications to help quit or cut down. All services, including medications, are free for eligible participants. The Quit Smoking people will be on the TRiO SSS back lanai TODAY (every Tuesdays) from 11:30am to 1:00pm to provide coaching, gum, lozenges, patches, etc. for those who would like to quit. Just a reminder that nicotine products are illegal on all UH System Campuses.
Also, VIP registration is from November 2 to 7 so schedule an appointment with your counselor to pick the right classes for Spring 22. You get to register one week prior so you get first choice of the courses, class times, and instructors to make YOUR ideal schedule for the Spring 2022 semester. The shopping cart in STAR is now available. We'll help you set up your schedule in STAR GPS so that all you have to do is hit the SUBMIT button and enter a PIN on November 2.
