What is TRiO Student Support Services (TRiO SSS) at Windward Community College (WCC) All About?

TRiO Student Support Services (TRiO SSS) is a federally funded program with the purpose of increasing retention, graduation, and transfer rates from two-year to four-year colleges/universities for low-income, first-generation, and/or disabled college students and is located on the Windward Community College (WCC) campus.

FREE lunch every day...

FREE Money Friday sessions that help you apply for scholarships, FAFSA, and/or writing a personal statement...basically, help you navigate the financial aid/scholarship application process...

TRiO SSS Supplemental Grant Aid program helps lessen your loan burden...

helps u file your federal and state taxes for FREE as TRiO SSS is a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) center...

learn about student loans, credit card debt, and general budgeting thru a FREE online, self-paced course...

FREE academic advising to help you pick your classes...

register for classes before the rest of campus for FREE...TRiO SSS participants are allowed to register before regular registration begins...

FREE summer math classes...

FREE individual, one-on-one, tutoring...use of smart tv's for can print/email what was written on screen...

FREE breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks 24/7 during finals week as well as showers and places to rest your eyes...

FREE use of Apple and Dell desktop as well as laptop computers for your computing needs with FREE black and white and color printing...also have large screen monitors to plug in ur laptop for group work...

variety of study and gathering areas: indoors or outdoors, small rooms or large open areas that are quiet, noisy, and everything in-between...trio sss got plenty of lounge chairs and sofas to relax on and all of this is FREE...
